Since morning glories have relatively hard seed coats, you should soak the seeds in water overnight or nick them before sowing. Sow the seeds of morning glory about ½ inch (1 cm.) deep and give them about 8 to 12 inch (15-31 cm.) spacing.
Morning glory is easy to grow from seed. Plant outdoors 1/2 inch deep after the last frost and keep moist while germinating. Seeds will germinate in 5-21 days. Seeds can be nicked and soaked in water for 24 hours before planting for better results.
If your new morning glory plant hasn't flowered yet, be patient. Morning glories can take a couple of months, up to 120 days from seed to flower, to burst out in blooms, especially if you planted the vine from seed. They are one of the last annuals to bloom in most regions, often in August or even early September.. . . . .364011236453!]
