Your are purchasing 5 Seaside Alder seeds Alnus Maritima Zone 4-7 or so. Full to partial sun. 15-25 ft shrubs, very wet sites and clay is ok. I have mine in a ditch that is wet 2/3 of the year or more. Very unusual in that it flowers late in the year. A cool, quite hardy, and extremely rare in the wild. A very hard to find species.
Very hard to find germination info on these, but it should be similar to other alders. Soak in water, let stand in water for 24 hours, cold stratify for 30 days minimum, possibly up to 90 days prior to planting. Keep looking for signs of germination before planting.
