The amp uses a single 12AX7 tube in the preamp and has a solid state power amp. The BaDass features a 3 band EQ, separate gain and volume controls, and a compressor. There is a foot switch to engage the compressor, or you can use a mini switch on the front of the amp. You can connect to the BaDass with Bluetooth to jam along with your songs. There is also a headphone output for quiet practice, which could also be used as a line out for recording, or connecting to a PA desk.
