Germination:
Sow inside from January to June. Sow the seeds in trays or pots, in a good seed compost, at 1/8in (3mm) deep, in a propagator or warm place to maintain an optimum temperature of 65-70F (18-20C). Germination usually takes 21-60 days. Transplant the seedlings when they are large enough to handle. Harden them off and plant them out, when all risk of frost has passed, about 30cm (12in) apart. Germination can take longer. Be patient!
