Overall Condition: Green Cloth Illustrated Gilt boards; decorated endpapers with maps and photos over 100 full page; 2 maps on a plate, illustrations & portraits on 33 plates (natives, sceneries, commanding officers & adversaries, war-ships & native vessels).
The boards have some minor damage and are faded, rubbed and soiled. The binding is in great shape with age toned pages and very readable text having no writing or highlighting. The front hinge is cracked at the top and there is a small split midway down the rear hinge.
