The 70's Shawl -- Updated Classic
This gorgeous shawl is hand crocheted by me in 100% Cotton yarn in three colors - White, Rose Pink and Deep Pink-Lavender Variegated. I've tried to take very detailed pictures to show you how stunning these traditional-style shawls are. Colors are, of course, deeper than they might appear on screen, due to the variations in monitors.
This pattern is an authentic late 70's triangle-shaped shawl from my pattern archives. This is the perfect shawl for spring and summer wear. It is sumputous and comfortable. It's easy to care for and perfect for everyday wear -- absolutely stunning with jeans.
Basic Care: Machine hand wash (machine soak and spin dry, no agitation wash) and machine dry gentle cycle. While most acrylic garments can be both machine washed and dried, when it comes to fringed garments you want to make sure they don't go through a regular wash -- agitation -- cycle. So you simply fill the machine basin, let your garment soak for 10-15 minutes, then move to the rinse/spin cycle to wring out the water. You can then dry the garment on low with a dryer sheet for approximately 30-35 minutes and then shake out. This will keep your fringe from tangling and sticking together.
Dimensions:
Width Across Top: 62"
Length At Longest Point: 32"
Fringe: 10"
