The vinyl used is one of the best for vehicle application and has an 8 year outdoor life expectancy. If your vehicle is regularly garaged and/or covered, it may exceed that. This is a die cut graphic so the background will be the color of whatever you stick it to.

We will be shipping your graphics in an EXTREMELY STRONG TUBE. Damage is HIGHLY unlikely.

There are extensive instructions online: but the materials being used are not always the same and react differently to wet mounts.
Bottom line: If you don't know what Material you're working with or what you're doing, you should have a professional apply them for you. Any Sign, Body, or Tint Shop can be hired to apply them.
But, if you are going to do it anyway, We will not be held responsible if you destroy the product because of impatience and ignorance about the product WE have sent you. If you have had experience with different materials sent to you by others, your experience may or may not be the same with the material we offer. There are hundreds of vinyl options available and they are not all the same when it comes to wet mounts.
This material requires at least 6 (sometimes up to 10) hours of natural dry time. IF you're going against our recommendations and performing a wet mount anyway; We would advise applying them before bed so they will dry all night. WE DO NOT ADVISE THE USE OF ACCELERATED DRYING TECHNIQUES EITHER. The vinyl is a fine 2 mil thinness. Once the soap deactivates the adhesive, it takes 6-8 hours for it to reactivate and bond stronger than the low tack transfer tape we use.
Again, We don't recommend wet application. You have been advised. We will not replace graphics that we did not destroy with claims that the product was defective. We know for a fact that the product is not defective because we apply it properly ourselves. These Graphics are intended to be applied dry. If you mishandle and destroy it, it's on you, Not us.

Contrary to what many believe: Thin Cast vinyl is not substandard material. It is actually more durable than thicker, inferior, calendered vinyl materials on the market. (Online Search: Cast VS Calendered Vinyl).
BENIFITS OF CAST VINYL
1. The Cast film has a minimum of shrinkage compared to calendared films. This is because the material does not want to return to its original shape like Calendered vinyl does. It conforms around complex curves and mantains itself in the applied position. Calendered vinyl is always trying to return to its original shape. So it fights against the adhesive around curves, and over rivets & currogations. This causes excessive shrinkage and tenting/separation from your vehicle in these areas.
2. HIGHER-DURABILITY due to the quality of plasticizers and raw materials used. This translates to a much longer vertical outdoor life expectancy on your vehicle. Especially if covered and/or garaged.
3. Cast films can be made in much thinner gauges so they wrap/conform to substrates with corrugations and complex curves. Once applied, they appear as if they are painted on.
4. Cast films maintain their color and other properties better than thick calendered films.
