Disposable lithium batteries offer the best run time, but are expensive. Well-known disposable alkaline brands provide six hours of run time on mixed use. Rechargeable NI-MH batteries have a lower voltage than disposable batteries, so cut out sooner. How does digital night vision work? The 110R emits infrared light (IR) using two LEDs, invisible to humans. A digital sensor picks up the IR. The image displays on a screen in the viewfinder. The 110R isn't damaged by sunlight, has a colour display in daytime, black & white at night. Can I mount my 110R to a helmet? Yes, the 110R is compatible with GoPRo mounts. You can also buy the Nightfox Click dovetail adapter, compatible with dovetail helmet mounts. Also consider a 1x magnification Nightfox for better situational awareness, like the Swift, Red and Cape. Can you use the 110R in the daylight? Yes, digital night vision can be used in the daylight without any loss of function.
