Sedum 'Alice Evans' are available in over 400 species, which you can use to diversify and enrich your garden in order to attract birds. Most of them are favored for their small seeds, which will attract granivorous birds such as finches, chickadees, grosbeaks, and siskins. Just don't deadhead your plants, so that the seeds remain for the birds to enjoy. Some varieties with bright, purple or red flowers, such as the Autumn Joy, are also attractive to hummingbirds, which will come to feast on the nectar.
