Description

Deciduous tree 17-20 m high, with a regular crown, pyramidal at first, becoming rounded over time. It requires loose and fertile soils with permanent humidity, in cool and humid places, in sunny exposure. It has fast growth. Its wood is very durable immersed in water, and is used in the manufacture of furniture. Put the seeds in water with a drop of dishwasher and soak for 48 hours. Then put wet kitchen paper in a box and put it in the fridge (Stratification) for 4 weeks. After sowing in a mixture of sand and commercial planting soil, slightly covered, cover the pot with glass or transparent plastic and put it in a moderately warm and shady place. Germination between 3-6 weeks
