This plant has red sap to which innumerable medicinal properties are attributed. It was widely exploited in the past and was called "dragon's blood".
The stem is thick and does not have growth rings, so its age can only be estimated from branch rings-forks, since it branches out after each flowering, approximately every 15 years (in favorable conditions even 10 and in areas very dry even more than 50 years).
The densely branched palm-like plant is crowned by an umbrella-shaped crown full of thick, flattened, dark green leaves. Over the years, the dragon tree can measure up to 15 meters in height and have trunks with an enormous width.
Sow burying the seeds one cm, they usually begin to sprout after a month and develop without problems.
