As they are long-cycle vegetables, it is best not to harvest them before 3 months (you can harvest them a little earlier but their size would be smaller, although they have a much sweeter flavor), they are not very demanding on fertilizers (although enrichment with manure has effects quite positive, especially if constant humidity is maintained) and is positively associated with other common vegetables (radishes, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, among many others).
