It is the fern that develops the largest trunk. Some subjects can exceptionally reach 60cm in diameter, 30cm being the most common diameter. The height of the stipe can exceed 15m in the countries of origin. The subjects of large diameter can issue more than 75 leaves per year, 25 for the usual subjects.
