Description
Linomag ointment is used as an adjunct in skin diseases such as eczema, intertrigo, rashes and excessive dryness of the skin.
Composition
the active substance of the drug is virgin linseed oil from Linum usitatissimum L., semen (common flax seed), (3:1) — 20 g
1 g of ointment contains 200 mg of linseed oil
excipients: anhydrous lanolin, white petrolatum
Dosage
Always use this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If you have any further questions, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Linomag is intended for use on the skin only .
The ointment can be used for tampons and rubbing.
Depending on the type of condition, use one to three times a day.
Lightly spread a thin layer of ointment directly onto the affected skin area or apply a thick layer on the dressing.
Action
Linomag ointment coats the epidermis with a fatty layer, preventing water loss and restoring proper hydration. By lubricating and moisturizing, it reduces dryness and exfoliation, reducing the impact of harmful external factors. The polyunsaturated fatty acids contained in the preparation normalize skin functions and accelerate its regeneration.
Indications
Linomag is used as a supportive treatment for the following conditions:
eczema,
intertrigo,
rashes,
conditions of excessive skin dryness,
psoriasis.
Contraindications
When not to use Linomag :
in case of hypersensitivity to lanolin or other excipients,
in case of seborrheic eczema.
Side effects
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
There are no reports of side effects after using Linomag ointment.
Warnings and precautions
This medicine contains lanolin. Linomag may cause local skin reactions (e.g., contact dermatitis).
Keep the medicine out of the sight and reach of children.
Store at a temperature not exceeding 25°C.
