FRONTLINE® SPOT ON dog S solution, 3 pcs 2-10kg

FRONTLINE® SPOT ON – The No. 1 against ticks, fleas and lice in dogs*
With FRONTLINE® SPOT ON you can reliably protect your dog against parasites such as ticks, fleas and lice. Optimally tailored to your dog's weight, FRONTLINE® SPOT ON is simply applied to the dog's skin and spreads with the skin's natural sebum film. In this way, ticks, fleas, etc. are rendered harmless upon contact and the transmission of infectious diseases transmitted by parasites is reduced.

Trust the No. 1 against ticks and fleas for dogs and cats* - with proven effectiveness and very good tolerance for your four-legged friend.

How FRONTLINE® SPOT ON works
After application, FRONTLINE® SPOT ON spreads with the skin's natural sebum film and acts like an outer, invisible protective coat against ticks, fleas and lice on dogs. To ensure optimal distribution, you should not bathe your dog within 2 days of treatment. Upon contact with the skin, parasites absorb the active ingredient and are rendered harmless within a short period of time.

FRONTLINE® SPOT ON can be used on puppies from the age of 12 weeks and also on pregnant or lactating bitches.

Frequently asked questions & answers
Why should I treat my dog for ticks and fleas?
Ticks and fleas can cause infectious and skin diseases that can be dangerous not only to us humans, but also to our animals.

Typical parasitic diseases are Lyme disease, TBE or tapeworms, which are often transmitted by ticks or fleas. Studies have shown that every third tick now carries the trigger for Lyme disease - a disease that, in the worst case, can be fatal even in dogs. Therefore, pet owners should treat their four-legged friends as a preventive measure with parasite protection.

Why do I still see ticks after treatment?
FRONTLINE® SPOT ON eliminates over 90% of ticks within 48 hours. However, due to the principle of action, it is possible that live ticks that have newly infested the animal are temporarily visible on the animal. However, they are killed as soon as sufficient active ingredient has penetrated the shell and can then be easily removed. This can ensure that there is no risk of infectious diseases being transmitted by the affected ticks to other animals in the household or surrounding area.

Why do I still see fleas after treatment?
FRONTLINE® SPOT ON eliminates over 95% of fleas within 24 hours.

However, as soon as fleas are discovered on the animal, the eggs, larvae and pupae have usually already spread to the surrounding area. Because the adult fleas on the animal only make up around 5% of the flea infestation. New fleas can always develop from flea breeding - so the entire flea cycle must be broken in order to get rid of the flea infestation. This only happens when there are no more offspring, which can take up to 3 months. The flea brood can infest the entire home environment. Therefore, as a supplementary measure, it is recommended to clean the environment mechanically by vacuuming and washing the affected textiles daily and to kill the flea brood with suitable insecticides (e.g. from FRONTLINE HOMEGARD®).

How do I protect my puppy from fleas and ticks?
Puppies can also be infected with parasites. Fleas in particular can cause problems for little ones and, in the event of a massive infestation, can even cause anemia. FRONTLINE® SPRAY can be used on dog and cat puppies from the first day of life. It immediately renders ticks and fleas harmless and can be adjusted precisely to the puppy's weight. From the 12th week of life and a body weight of 2kg, you can switch to FRONTLINE® SPOT ON.
