With the help of his holographic sidekick, Cursor, Automan materializes into the real world as a solid, blue-skinned humanoid with superhuman abilities. Together, Walter and Automan form an unlikely crime-fighting duo, using Automan's unique powers and advanced technology to combat criminals and thwart threats to the city. As they navigate their adventures, they are assisted by Walter's friend and coworker, Roxanne Caldwell, and often find themselves facing off against Walter's skeptical boss, Captain Boyd.

"Automan" aired for one season, consisting of 13 episodes. Despite its short run, the series gained a cult following for its innovative premise, dazzling visual effects, and action-packed storylines. "Automan" remains a nostalgic favorite among fans of 1980s science fiction television, celebrated for its imaginative concept and charismatic performances.
