Light: Anthuriums prefer bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight, especially intense afternoon sun, as it can scorch the leaves. Place your plant near a window with filtered light or in a well-lit room.

Temperature: Anthuriums thrive in temperatures between 65°F to 80°F (18°C to 27°C). Avoid exposing them to cold drafts or temperatures below 55°F (13°C).

Watering: Keep the soil evenly moist but not waterlogged. Water your Anthurium when the top inch of soil feels dry to the touch. It's better to underwater than overwater, as Anthuriums are susceptible to root rot. Allow excess water to drain away from the pot, and empty the saucer beneath the pot to prevent water from accumulating.

Humidity: Anthuriums prefer high humidity. Mist the leaves regularly or place a tray filled with pebbles and water beneath the pot to increase humidity. You can also use a humidifier to maintain humidity levels around 60-80%.

Soil: Plant Anthuriums in a well-draining potting mix that retains some moisture. A mixture of peat moss, perlite, and orchid bark works well. Make sure the pot has drainage holes to prevent waterlogging.

Fertilizing: Feed your Anthurium with a balanced liquid fertilizer diluted to half strength every 4-6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer). Reduce fertilization during the fall and winter months.

Potting: Repot your Anthurium every 1-2 years or when it becomes root-bound. Choose a pot that is one size larger than the current one, and refresh the potting mix.

Pruning: Remove any yellowing or damaged leaves by cutting them off at the base with clean, sharp scissors or pruning shears. Trim spent flowers to encourage new blooms.

Pests and Diseases: Keep an eye out for common pests such as aphids, mealybugs, and spider mites. If you notice any signs of infestation, gently wash the leaves with a mild soap solution or use neem oil to control pests. Avoid overwatering to prevent root rot and fungal diseases.

Winter Care: Anthuriums may experience slower growth during the winter months. Reduce watering and fertilization, and protect your plant from cold drafts.
