Purpose:

INDOMETACIN DS 10% ointment belongs to the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicinal products for external use. It has an anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving effect due to inhibition of the synthesis of prostaglandins. Inhibits platelet aggregation.

Helps relieve pain, especially joint pain at rest and with movement, reduce morning stiffness and joint swelling, increase range of motion.

What is INDOMETACIN DS 10% ointment used for?

To relieve pain in:

- Joint syndrome (rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, gout)

- Traumatic inflammation of the soft tissues and musculoskeletal system

- Rheumatism

- Diffuse connective tissue diseases

- Neuralgias

- Myalgias

Active ingredients:

1 g of ointment contains the active substance 100.0 mg Indometacin

Indomethacin DS 10% ointment is applied to the skin.

Adults and adolescents over 14 years of age - apply 3-4 times a day to the diseased joints or part of the body, rub into the skin. The total amount of ointment for adults per day should not exceed 15 cm squeezed from the tube, for children older than 14 years - 7.5 cm.

Children under 14 years of age - experience in children under 14 years of age is limited, therefore the use of the product is not recommended.

The duration of application should not exceed 10 days.
