"Flo" is an American sitcom that aired from 1980 to 1981 as a spin-off of the popular show Alice. The series follows Florence Jean "Flo" Castleberry (Polly Holliday), the feisty and spirited waitress known for her catchphrase "Kiss my grits!" who leaves Mel's Diner in Phoenix to pursue a new opportunity. Flo decides to return to her hometown of Cowtown, Texas, with the dream of buying and running her own roadhouse, which she renames Flo's Yellow Rose.

Earl "Big Daddy" Kostrander (Geoffrey Lewis), Flo's ex-boss and the previous owner of the Yellow Rose.
