Elephant Pitcher Shawnee Pottery Cute Creamer

This vintage elephant creamer or small pitcher is white with hand painted details. It was made by the Shawnee Pottery Co. in the 1940's. On the base is a "Shawnee /U.S.A." impressed mark. Height: 4¾ inches. Condition: there are two places with small chips - on the trunk front edge and the rim next to the handle. These have been filled in with Liquid Porcelain, which makes the pitcher waterproof, but the color is not an exact match. This can be best seen in my photo #3. This condition is reflected in the price.
