Active ingredients - ksilometazolinov hydrochloride.
Reduces swelling of the nasal mucosa.

Olynth 5% e nasal spray in acute fever, bouts of hearty nasal secretion (vasomotor rhinitis), allergic rhinitis (allergic rhinitis). Specially designed for use in children 2-6 years.
With active ingredient - Xylometazoline. Xylometazoline is a sympathomimetic drug substance with vasoconstrictive effect and thereby reduces the swelling of the mucous membrane.
Relieves nasal breathing, reducing swelling of the mucous membranes and improves the drainage of secretions. The onset of action typically occurred within 5-10 minutes.
How to use:
Unless otherwise prescribed for children 2-5 years if necessary, up to 3 times daily one injection of Olynthus 0.5% Dosing spray in each nostril. The dosage depends on the individual sensitivity of the patient and the clinical effect.
How to use Olynthus 0.5%?
Remove the protective cap. Before first use, press the pump several times until a homogeneous aerosol. Now the dosing spray is ready for immediate use when required. In use, flush once. During the injection, inhale gently through the nostril. Keep spray dispensing in an upright position, as far as possible. Do not spray horizontally or downwards. Put back the protective cap after use.
How long should it use Olynthus 0.5%?
Do not use xylometazoline spray dosing for more than 5 to 7 days, unless otherwise prescribed by a physician.
Reuse must be carried out only after an interval of several days.
Consult your doctor about the duration of use in children.
Ingredients:
1 ml of solution contains 5.0 mg xylometazoline hydrochloride.
Excipients: benzalkonium chloride (preservative), sorbitol, sodium chloride, sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate, disodium phosphate dihydrate, disodium edetate, purified water.
Contraindications:
This medicine should not be used in the following cases:
- Hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients of Olynthus 0.5%
- Dry nasal inflammation (rhinitis sicca) Children under 2 years of age.
Due to the use of bezalkonievhlorid as a preservative, Olynthus 0.5% should not be used in known hypersensitivity to the substance.
This drug should be used with careful consideration of the benefit-risk patients:
- Which have been treated with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAO inhibitors), or other drugs with a potential hypertensive effect
- At elevated intraocular pressure, especially glaucoma of narrow with severe cardiovascular disease (e. ischemic heart disease, hypertension)
- With metabolic diseases (eg. Hyperthyroidism, diabetes)
