Vintage 1888 The Dore Bible Gallery by Gustave Henry Altemus 100 illustrated. The Dore Bible Gallery Containting One Hundred Superb Illustrations by Gustave Dore, Philadelphia: Henry Altemus. Boards are gold cloth with the front board having the title, author, and illustrations in black, gold gilt, and silver; spine has the title and illustrations in gold gilt and black; back board title blind stamped with illustrations. Some writing inside All corners rubbed through, all corners curled, minor edge wear, spine wear. some foxing; normal toning. All edges gold gilt edge. .. Pages not numbered, but each illustrations is numbered 1 - 100.
