The Bobbs Merrill Company, c1940, no other printings listed, 128 pages. GOOD Condition Hardcover. This book is ex-library with usual markings, wear to board edges & book corners, some cover wear (see scan), a couple of small segments of spine covering missing. Pages & Binding are NICE & TIGHT!
Augustus has some colorful adventures catching pirates in the swamps of Louisiana. A small town named Evangeline has Augustus and his family pull up in a houseboat and the swamp becomes a great place to play pirate and look for treasure. Unfortunately some real pirates decide it's a great place to hide. Augustus to the rescue!!
