Disney's Mighty Ducks: The Animated Series follows a team of anthropomorphic, hockey-playing ducks from the icy planet Puckworld who come to Earth to fight their reptilian enemies, the Saurians, who are trying to conquer Puckworld and Earth. The ducks form a hockey team in Anaheim, California, hiding their superhero alter-egos in plain sight under the Anaheim Pond arena, which serves as their secret headquarters. They use hockey-themed gadgets to battle their nemesis, Saurian leader Lord Dragaunus, and his minions while simultaneously competing in hockey games.
