Zovirax DUO cream for cold sores. 5% acyclovir, 1% hydrocortisone
Zovirax DUO cream with the unique dual-action formula stops viruses from multiplying and can even prevent the formation of blisters.
Zovirax DUO is the only over-the-counter cold sore cream that contains an antiviral agent (aciclovir) and an anti-inflammatory agent (hydrocortisone).
Apply Zovirax DUO at the first signs such as tingling, tightness or itching. The earlier you start treatment, the better the chances are that blisters and crusts will not form in the first place.
Apply to affected areas 5 times a day for 5 days. It is recommended to start treatment as soon as possible. Wash hands before and after treatment
Do not use for longer than 5 days. Contact your doctor if your symptoms persist 5 days after the end of treatment.
Suitable for adults and young people aged 12 and over.
Active ingredients: acyclovir, hydrocortisone. Areas of application: Treatment of early signs and symptoms of recurrent herpes labialis (cold sores) to reduce the progression of cold sore episodes to ulcerative lesions in immunocompetent adults and adolescents (12 years and older). Warning: Contains cetostearyl alcohol, propylene glycol and sodium dodecyl sulfate.
Please do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the pack or outer packaging.
Store in cool, dry place out of reach of sunlight, between 5-30°C and out of reach of children.
