USSR Scientists Yablochkov 1951 First graduation

This 1951 Soviet stamp commemorates scientist Pavel Yablochkov, inventor of the Yablochkov candle, an early form of electric lighting. The stamp features a portrait of Yablochkov against a simple design, presented in shades of brown and red, and is in excellent, uncancelled condition.
