ANDREW J. BACEVICH, a professor of history and international relations at Boston University, retired from the U.S. Army with the rank of colonel. He is the author of The New American Militarism, among other books. He is the recipient of a Lannan award and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.

There is no obvious damage to and the cover the dust jacket is included. There are no missing or damaged pages, no creases or tears, and no underlining/highlighting of text or writing in the margins. It may have very minimal identifying marks on the inside cover as well as very minimal wear and tear; see images.
