AS THE MAN SAYS: women aren't so much, but they're the best other sex we have. This would seem to be a balanced opinion, based on long experience. But not all men are so neutral in print: some are real enthusiasts, some real cynics.
This little book is a selection from both schools of male opinion. Because more authors find it easy to be clever against women than for them, the selection here, in numbers, may seem unbalanced. But consider: every word of praise is a pearl, wrenched from the hard shell of a masculine heart, and should be valued far above the easy sarcasms. In this enlightened view, the balance is restored.
Our artist has, we think, been wiser than our authors: he has shown his women as half light and half dark: but always intriguing.
Overall Condition: Very good: The book does not look new and has been read but is in excellent condition. There is no obvious damage to the cover and the dust jacket is included. There are no missing or damaged pages, no creases or tears, and no underlining/highlighting of text or writing in the margins. It may have very minimal identifying marks on the inside cover as well as very minimal wear and tear; see images.
