Plot Summary
Lee Min-ho & Kim Go-eun, an uncle kills the father emperor and then travels through time to the Republic of Korea, while the nephew grows up.

In the winter of 1994 in the Korean Empire, Prince Kim Li-rin (played by Lee Yeon-joon) attempted a rebellion to seize the 'Wanboshik Flute.' That night, the flute was cut in half, and Li-rin took one half to open a door to a parallel world. 25 years later, Lee Gon (played by Lee Min-ho), who possesses the other half of the flute, accidentally enters a dimensional gate while chasing a pocket watch rabbit and arrives in the Republic of Korea. Lee Gon can’t believe the situation—slightly different air, buildings that don’t match his memories—but most importantly, the woman in front of him doesn’t even know that he is the emperor of the Korean Empire. Could he have arrived in a world that exists between '1' and '0'? But this woman is a familiar face: 'Seoul Metropolitan Police Department Officer Jung Tae-eul' (played by Kim Go-eun), just as it was written on the ID card that 8-year-old Lee Gon picked up on the night of the rebellion. An architect, Fuller, once said that when solving a problem, if the answer isn’t beautiful, it’s wrong. Perhaps solving the problem with this woman will yield a beautiful answer. Lee Gon, the scientifically minded emperor of the Korean Empire who wants to close the dimensional gate, and Jung Tae-eul, the literary-minded Korean police officer who wants to protect friends and love, travel between two worlds, helping each other along the way.
