Exufiber AG+ is a sterile, non-woven gelling fiber dressing made from Hydrolock® technology, designed to absorb and retain wound exudate. Upon contact with fluid, it transforms into a gel that maintains a moist wound environment, supports autolytic debridement, and reduces the risk of leakage and maceration.
Indications for Use
Indicated for the management of medium to highly exuding wounds, including leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, surgical wounds, and cavity wounds. It can also be used under compression therapy and in combination with secondary dressings.
Recommended Daily Dose
The dressing should be changed depending on the level of exudate and clinical condition of the wound, typically every 1–3 days or as directed by a healthcare professional.
Directions for Use
Cleanse the wound according to clinical practice. Select a dressing size that covers the wound bed with overlap. Apply directly to the wound, ensuring full contact with the wound surface. Cover with an appropriate secondary dressing. Remove and replace when saturated or as clinically indicated. Dispose of used dressing safely.
Composition
Made from polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) fibers with Hydrolock® technology, free from latex and animal-derived materials.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Store in a dry, dark place, out of the reach of children below 25°C / 77°F.
