Vintage Soviet Porcelain Figurine Budyonovka Cavalryman, Red Army Cavalryman, Russia USSR ZHK 1960s

The Budyonovka cavalryman statuette was produced between 1956 and 1972 by M. A. Motsak. The figurine is 14.5 cm tall and 15 cm long at the base, executed in a propaganda style. It features a Red Army cavalryman seated on a horse, holding its reins. He wears a Budyonovka cap and a cape, red on one side and beige on the other, with a saber hanging from his left belt. The horse has a yellowish mane and tail, gilded harness, and wide hooves also edged with a gilded piping, with the base of the hooves highlighted with black dots above it. The bottom of the hooves bears the blue POLONNE ZHK factory stamp.
