Description:
Famotidine Ranigast is a film-coated tablet for adults. It contains famotidine (a member of the group of drugs called H2 receptor antagonists), which inhibits the secretion of hydrochloric acid in the stomach. Famotidine Ranigast is used for the short-term symptomatic treatment of stomach discomfort not associated with organic gastrointestinal disease, such as hyperacidity, heartburn, and indigestion (dyspepsia). The drug's effect lasts for 10-12 hours.
Composition:
1 tablet contains: active ingredient: 20 mg of famotidine; excipients: tablet core: pregelatinized starch, powdered cellulose, magnesium stearate, talc; coating: hypromellose, titanium dioxide, macrogol 6000, talc, cochineal red lake (E124).
Indications and effects:
Famotidine Ranigast reduces the production of hydrochloric acid in the stomach, relieving unpleasant symptoms such as heartburn, hyperacidity, and indigestion.
Famotidine Ranigast 20 mg is used for the symptomatic treatment of heartburn, hyperacidity, and indigestion.
Dosage:
Always take this medicine exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If you have any questions, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Adults: 1 20 mg tablet daily.
If symptoms recur, you can take 1 20 mg tablet twice daily.
The daily dose should not exceed 40 mg (2 tablets).
Contraindications:
Famotidine Ranigast should not be used in the following cases:
allergic to the active substance or any of the ingredients,
allergic to other H2 antagonists,
renal failure.

Dawkowanie:

Dorośli: 1 tabletka 20 mg na dobę.
W razie nawrotu dolegliwości można zastosować 1 tabletkę 20 mg 2 razy na dobę.

Przeciwwskazania:
