KISS Meets the Phantom of the Park (1978) is a gloriously cheesy rock ’n’ roll adventure where the masked superheroes of KISS—Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Ace Frehley, and Peter Criss—battle evil mastermind Abner Devereaux, played by Anthony Zerbe.

When Devereaux uses his army of robots to cause chaos at an amusement park, KISS must save the day—with plenty of explosions, ridiculous costumes, superpowers, and, naturally, a lot of loud music.

Featuring Deborah Grover, John Chappell, and Carmine Caridi, the film is basically a superhero movie, concert, and Saturday-morning cartoon that accidentally wandered into the same park. It’s wonderfully bonkers—and unmistakably KISS!
