Desmoxan should be taken according to the following schedule:
From days 1 to 3: 1 tablet every 2 hours (6 tablets per day),
From days 4 to 12: 1 tablet every 2.5 hours (5 tablets per day),
From days 13 to 16: 1 tablet every 3 hours (4 tablets per day),
From days 17 to 20: 1 tablet every 5 hours (3 tablets per day),
From days 21 to 25: 1-2 tablets per day (up to 2 tablets per day).
From the first day of treatment, the number of cigarettes smoked should be gradually reduced.
Smokers should completely quit smoking no later than the 5th day after starting treatment.
A person who has quit smoking should never smoke a single cigarette.
The durability of the treatment results depends on this.
If the treatment results are unsatisfactory, treatment should be discontinued. Treatment may be restarted after 2 to 3 months.
Warnings:
Desmoxan should be used with caution in patients with coronary heart disease, heart failure, hypertension, pheochromocytoma, atherosclerosis and other peripheral vascular diseases, gastric and duodenal ulcers, gastroesophageal reflux disease, hyperthyroidism, diabetes, schizophrenia, renal and hepatic failure.
Children and adolescents:
This drug is not recommended for use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age.
Elderly:
Due to the risk of complications, this productis not recommended for use in individuals over 65 years of age.
