Antique Vintage Pearl Earrings AKOYA Designer Signed

A Lovely Pair of Antique Vintage Pearl Earrings, AKOYA Cultured Ocean Pearl, Designer Signed Silver Etched Settings. These beautiful vintage earrings hold genuine Akoya Pearls at their centers, each measuring about 7mm in diameter. The settings are composed of Silver, at least Sterling in content, with a Rhodium finish which prevents tarnish and gives a look similar to Platinum. They have screwbacks that can be worn on both pierced and unpierced ears. These are similar in style to those sold by Mikimoto and jewelry designers in Hawaii during the 1940's and 50's. These are signed A. along with Silver on the backs. Each earring measures about 1 1/8 inches long by about 5/16 inch wide and are in lovely vintage condition.
