Fragonard signed china earrings transfer painting lovers clip backs vintage jewelry ll3563

These earrings are made of white china with transfers of 18th century painting fragments by Fragonard and edged with gold. I did not notice the signature till I was looking at the blowup in my picture editing.

The picture is of a couple in a garden. The earrings have clip backs and are most unusual. They are of considerable age judging by the clips. These earrings are in fine condition. They are 1¼ inch top to bottom.
