This is such a lovely piece, a dress clip from the early part of the 1900's, and was part of an estate that was stored for some time.
It is done in the die-cast style of that time period but features a delightful swirl of flowers, leaves, and bunches of grapes that have an unusual twist. There are two "stems" on either side that are detached from the background and provide graceful curves and added dimension. It's a lovely touch.
The clip measures 2-5/8" x 2-1/4" and has about 3/8" of depth. All in all it is in very good condition for a piece this old and is obviously ready to be a great conversation piece for... who know how many more years!
