Antique gold filled locket tiny for child 2 photo spaces engraved ll2789

A sweet little locket probably meant for a child or baby. It is an oval about 3/4 inch long and 1/2 inch wide. The front is etched with a flower and a zigzag line and the back is engraved, amie, (French for female friend).
I think this was intended to be Jaimie but the engraver ran out of room. Looks fine as amie and more appropriate for more people.

Inside has frames for 2 tiny photos. It is marked on one frame 1/20 12kGF and has a maker's mark inside a diamond. The locket has a baile but no chain. The locket could also be used as a charm on a bracelet. Condition is very good for its age. The back looks like the previous owner reacted to the alloy. Front is fine. Age I estimate as early 20th century.
