  • Description
Here's a very nice unused souvenir folder/mailer from Hartford, Connecticut, the "Birthplace of Constitutional Government". It contains 16 full-color postcard-size photo illustrations in a double-sided accordion format. Featured views include: Glimpse of State Capitol from State Library; State Office Building; Post Office; Main Street Looking South; Largest Building of Colonial Design in the World; Charter Oak Bridge; St. Joseph's Cathedral; Travelers Tower; Looking across Connecticut River towards Travelers Building; American Flag in Elizabeth Park; Rose Garden, Elizabeth Park; Crimson Ramblers on Rose Arches, Elizabeth Park; Trinity College - Dining Room and Dormitory, Chapel, Laboratory; Pond in Elizabeth Park; The Late Mark Twain's Residence, Farmington Avenue; Night View of State Capitol and Corning Fountain

The folder was published by H. P. Kopplemann and is identified as Genuine Curteich-Chicago "C.T. Art-Colortone" Creation. It bears the number/code: "D-7093"

Size: approx. 4-1/4" x 6-1/4"

Date: Copyright MCMXLIII by Curt Teich & Co. of Chicago.

Condition: Excellent, I'd say. The colors are bright and fresh and the folder has no noticeable wear. (Please see scans.)
