This is a great sequined top from a quantity of glamourous clothing I found at an estate sale for a woman who had been both an avid collector and entrepreneur with shops in the southwest. The clothing had been stored for some time; most things survived well.
This is a most unusual top, designed in a sheer fabric that is sewn all over in "waves" of white irridescent sequins alternating with silver seed beads. The bottom edge and the sleeve edges are done in wide bands solid with more of the white sequins.
The dolman (or batwing) sleeves are wide and full that extend almost to the waist. The sleeves are full length but could probably be pushed up a bit.
There really isn't any way to measure the bustline; the length measured from the shoulder to bottom of band is 23", from neckline edge to end of cuff is 25".
This is an unusual style that would be extremely comfortable to wear and could be perfect for either dressy or informal occasion.
