My Husband has been collectiing Old Time Radio shows for a long time now. He listens to them while he is working in the darkroom.
We thought we would share them with others so they could enjoy them also.
Sears Radio Theater was an anthology radio drama series which ran weeknights on CBS Radio in 1979, sponsored by the Sears chain. Often paired with The CBS Radio Mystery Theater during its first season, the program offered a different genre of drama for each day's broadcast. Monday was "Westerns" and was hosted by Lorne Greene. Tuesday was "Comedy", hosted by Andy Griffith. Wednesday was "Mystery Night" with Vincent Price as host. Thursday was "Love And Hate Night" with Cicely Tyson doing honors as host. Finally, Friday brought "Adventure Night with Richard Wildmark.
There are 103 SHOWS ON 1 DVD and they are in MP3 format. They will play on any Computer and some CD players That are marked plays MP3s. You can easily burn them to a CD so you can play them on your car system. I have them on my Zune and one of my friends has them on his I-POD. Remember they are in MP3 format and will not play on most CD players.
