2 Vintage Antique Shoe Button Covers Brass Striking Design

Here is a very nice pair of Vintage Brass Shoe Button Covers. It's unusual to find these in pairs, and these are very unique. They are in the shape of a Shield, with an intricate metal work design that looks Egyptian or Nouveau in style. The covers are in Very Good Vintage Condition, as shown in the photos. The metal has aged with time, especially on the back of one where the hook connects. Also, one cover has a small metal piece is missing from the middle of the design. Apparently, the metal design was made with tiny metal pieces applied to the covers. A wonderful pair of shoe button covers for the collector!
