EXCERPTS FROM THE RASCALS FREEDOM SUITE
Atlantic Records # TL-ST-137
This LP was produced in very small numbers in 1969 and given to record dealers to play in their stores, in hopes that it would encourage customers to buy the Freedom Suite album. The record is a white label promo with no Atlantic logo, and the labels read PROMOTIONAL RECORD FOR RECORD DEPARTMENT IN STORE PLAY. The back of the record jacket has nothing on it, and there is nothing printed on the spine.
The record looks like it has had a small number of easy plays. The vinyl is clean and a close under a lamp shows a bit of superficial surface marking and a few light surface scuffs. There is nothing that can be felt on the grooves. The music sounds great and the record plays with an occasional light tick. There’s some DJ talk on the record to encourage consumers to buy the new Rascals album.
The cover shows some surface wear and light wear around the edges. There is some light chipping on the bottom seam but no seam or spine splitting, no creasing, and no writing.

All LPs come packaged carefully in a sturdy corrugated box made specifically for mailing LPs plus a cardboard insert. The covers are placed in clear plastic record sleeves. The vinyl is removed from the cover (except for SEALED items) for shipping to prevent seam splitting during shipment.
