Handbook for Creative Teaching Rod & Staff Homeschool

Up for your consideration I have a great book publisshed by Rod & Staff entitled "Handbook for Creative Teaching". The book is designed for students who are thinking about becoming teachers in a Christian school...hoever, after skimming thru the pages and thru the chapter titles, etc, I would have to say that I think there are alot of good pointers/practical advice for parents of homeschoolers as well. The book is a whopping 932 pages!! I can't list all of the chapter and subchapter titles...lol...way to many...but here are a few: Thinking about teaching (The challenge, The rewards, What teaching is); Teaching The Subjects (What to do with the books, What shall I talk about, Preparing a how-to lesson, preparing study skills lessons, using units, assignments-how big, why must we study this), Teaching The Children (making it sink in, making it stay in, training by vigilance how students block their own thinking), etc, etc. I could go on.
