A hard to find record pressed on the small Holland Label “Redita Records”. BOP LIKE CARL is the Bill Jenkins tribute song to the late great Carl Perkins. The whole album is great and it rarely shows up for sale. Most of the material was recorded in Harriman, Tennessee and Knoxville, Tennessee between 1977-1986, except for tracks 7 and 8 which were recorded in Salem, Virginia in 1965. Except for the two Virginia recorded songs, Bill Jenkins plays all the instruments on this album.
COVER: VG + (VERY GOOD PLUS): Minor flaws. May include light surface wear or light ring wear. Can include some seam or spine wear, however there are no splits or tears in this condition unless indicated. Possible creasing or dings, but still relatively minor in this condition. (This cover has a handful of scratches on the front and some light surface wear. It also has some small check marks by a few if the song titles on the back and a crease in the bottom right corner)
VINYL: VG + (VERY GOOD PLUS): A few visual imperfections or minor flaws. Possible light scuffing or light scratching but not deep. Light audible imperfection may be present. The surface is still clean and retains much of the original gloss and luster.
