This is the first of five projected books (published simultaneously with the second) that will each examine ten years in the development of science fiction magazines from their beginning to the present day. This volume contains a lengthy account of SF magazine publishing ventures in the decade 1926-1935, an anthology of works from the magazines of the period, a checklist of authors' works, a summary of magazine issues during these years (including numbers and frequency of issue), a glossary of magazine editors, and a guide to cover artists of the major magazines at the time.
