J & G Meakin Eames era gravy sauce boat yellow rose hc1310

This gravy or sauce boat is from J&G Meakin and is classic early 50s. It has a graceful shape, easy handle and generous spout. On the front is a pale yellow rosebud with aqua and gray leaves. On the back are a few leaves in the two colors. It is in really great condition with no cracks, chips or crazing. In a few places the glaze has worn thin and it has shelf scuffing on the bottom. On the bottom it is marked with a crown, J & G Meakin, England. Measures 8 inches from tip to tip and is 4 inches high. It would hold about a cup and a half of liquid. A great piece for Eames era collectors.
