In Good used condition, missing dustjacket, cover extremities lightly rubbed, some soiling of the text edges. Former owner has written "It's mine" and her name in ink on the ffep.
Margaret Rudkin was the founder of Pepperidge Farms. The story of the events that led up to her being a very successful entrepreneur and the recipes she divulges along the way make for fascinating (and delicious!) reading.
Every page has a charming illustration by Danish-born artist Erik Blegvad (he also illustrated "Bedknob and Broomstick", several of the "Miss Bianca" books, and many others).
