Quite rare in its own right and also because it has twice the dimensions of a standard cover.This Panamanian cover commemorates the achievements of the American Space program and honors the missions of the Mercury 7 Astronauts, 6 of whom are depicted on the front (Possibly because Deke Slayton, although one of the original Mercury 7, did not go into Space during the pre-Apollo Space missions. However he did go into Space later as a member of the historic Apollo crew that docked with a Soyuz during the-Soyuz/Apollo link-up, and was also Chief of the Astronaut Office).
