This RARE-SIZE AIP / EDGAR ALLAN POE horror poster is in Excellent condition! It has always been ROLLED or stored flat - NEVER FOLDED. With very minor edge and surface wear, an approx. 8" angled crease in the top right (white) border edge, an approx. 5" black ink transfer at the lower right extreme edge (white border only).Stored flat and out-of-sunlight since the 70's, the colors are rich and unfaded. It's printed on heavy glossy poster stock.

This terrificly tawdry exploitation poster from the entry in AIP's famed EDGAR ALLAN POE horror film series uses a high-grain rust-tinted photo of the MURDERING MADMAN, wearing a Phantom-Of-The-Opera-Style mask as he waves an ampoule filled with something assuredly awful. He towers over the LURID depiction of a woman's sprawled legs (one with a garter and net stocking), placed arrestingly in the extreme foreground. With a great, eerie stylized title-logo, too!

A GREAT COLLECTIBLE for any fan of AIP ARTWORK and the popular POE horror series!

The film stars JASON ROBARDS , CHRISTINE KAUFMANN , HERBERT LOM , ADOLFO CELI , MICHAEL DUNN and LILLI PALMER "as Madeline's Mother." Directed by GORDON HESSLER
